The Woman Behind the Lens

Brandi Fox, Orlando, Florida Photographer
Hello, wanderer!

I am thankful for your interest in my passion for fine art portrait photography. I see my creative portraiture as storytelling in its truest form, as I focus on capturing the emotion, connection, and authenticity of the couples and families I am blessed to work with.

Portraits are not just a snapshot to what you once looked like, but a preservation of how you lived and how you loved. Each session begins with traditional portraiture, think “look at the camera and smile,” but that isn’t the part that fuels my passion and drives me to create. My favorite is to capture you in your truest form with those that you hold closest to your heart. We explore, we dance, we laughyour session will never be stationary. This quote best summarizes how I want your photographs to leave you,

A thing that you see in my pictures is that I was not afraid to fall in love with these people.

The Beginning

I have had a deep love of photography since I was a middle schooler toting around a cheap point-and-shoot camera. From then a flame ignited and set ablaze my passion for exploring new locations, delving into darkroom photography, and spending hours experimenting with Photoshop to find the best effect to enhance each photograph’s story. After all, my second passion is writing, and I believe photography has the unparalleled ability to tell an entire story within the second it takes for the shutter to click.

I offer portraits for every milestone. From couples to family sessions, I document every moment in between. Whether you are becoming one with your forever love, growing your family, or looking for artistic, conceptual portraits, I would be honored to work with you. Contact me to share your story and find how we can work together to preserve life’s greatest joy.

My Style

What fills my cup

  • My faith

  • My family (I married my middle school sweetheart and we have two boys!)

  • Exploring with my camera attached to me: I always feel like a child ready to discover what lies just out of sight.

  • Traveling to new places (I have dreamed of visiting far away places since I was a little girl.)

  • Any art medium where I work with my hands: I love ceramics, sculpture, welding; you name it and I would love to dig my hands into it.

  • Writing: I started at the age of 12 and I never stopped. I particularly enjoy writing fiction and nonfiction short stories.
